With reference to your letter No. 53928/38 of
23rd September, 1935 regarding the case of Captain John
Reynolds who had been repatriated from Hong Kong I have the honour to transmit for your information a copy of a letter
from the London County Council stating that Captain Reynolds
died on 11th February, 1939 and enquiring whether funds are
available to meet the cost of the burial. To this we have
replied that, so far as we are aware, there are no funds
available for this purpose.
